new meaning of fashion.

well along with my personality.

choice for an appropriate title for the poem is ‘Fashion Defines You’ because, I believe every line in the poem has the
reflection of this chosen title.

Yes

a. What
image do you repeat… What does the word image mean here? What effect do you
think repeating the image has on the person viewing it?
By the term image, the poet means to talk about the
repeated outfits. I think repeating image has no such big impact on the viewer.
b. Do
they give you the required air… What does the poet mean by the words required
air?
By using the word required air the poet means to say
that the clothes project your manner or make your appearance as you want it to
be.
c. And
for you is not too discrete… Why has the poet used the words not too discrete
to talk about the image a person maintains?
The poet has used the words not too discrete because
no matter how much one dresses their personality and their image would still
look the same. Fashion should not damage your image.
C7. Answer the
following questions
a. Do
you agree with the poet’s assertion that people like to dress differently? Or,
do you think that people from the same regions and climate tend to wear similar
clothing? Discuss.
Yes, I agree with poet’s assertion that people like to
dress differently, but I also believe that every region and climate have some clothing
that is specific to them. But, in the latter scenario too, some would be seen
dressed differently than the rest. Everyone has a different choice when it
comes to dressing themselves up.
b.
Imagine that a very fashion-conscious person is talking to a person who cares more
about comfort than fashion. Write the conversation.
DO BY SELF
