B. ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS.

1. What does 'keep your head' mean?

It means to be confident and proud of oneself and never to surrender to defeat. 

2. Why should we not make dreams our master?

We should not make dreams our master because it has no reality. Merely by dreaming we cannot achieve anything. To achieve something we need to act.

3. Why are triumph and disaster called impostors?

They are not permanent and can change their standard anytime. Therefore the winner of today might not be a winner forever and lose anytime. Similarly, disaster can be overcome by efforts. So they are not permanent.

4. Why is it important to hold on to one's will?

It is the will power that motivates one to take action. If someone is forced to act it will not be durable but if their is a desire to work, a willingness to act it can definitely lead to success and achievement. 

5. Why does the poet call the minute 'unforgiving'?

Time never stops; it keeps moving forward. So once we miss the time to do some work we do not get it back. It is irreversible.

    But make allowance for their doubting too;

a. What does 'trust yourself' mean?
    
It means to trust oneself fully and have the confidence.

b. What does 'make allowance' imply?

It implies that when people begin to doubt you and start developing opinion about you, those things should not affect you in any way.

2.  If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
    To serve your turn long after they are gone,
a. What does the speaker mean by 'heart and nerve and sinew'?

By this phrase, the speaker wants to communicate that one must never give up and pull oneself together to give his or her very best.

b. How can you make them 'server your turn long after they are gone'?

The fruit of our good deeds will remain long even when our body exists no longer. People will remember our action.

List the qualities that make one a Man (a 'Man' here means a 'good human being'), according to Kipling.
