Kamal Krishna Das is a selfless child because he did not think about himself for once before jumping into the river not just once but thrice to save three lives. He kept the needs of others above his own and rescued his mother, aunt and the stranger.

c. Do you think that rewarding children for their brave deeds can inspire others to be more courageous during critical situations? Why/Why not?

Rewarding children for their brave deeds can inspire others to be more courageous. The acts of bravery should be brought into the notice of people so that they also get motivated. In this way they get the qualities of courage and selflessness in them. Also, when we recognize the good work of children, we make them feel valued and encourage others to be good as well.

d. Imagine that you come across an animal drowning in a river. However, you do not know how to swim. What would you do in this critical situation?

Helping someone is very important, but in the process if I become an additional victim, then the whole process of the rescue mission is a total failure with additional damage. Therefore, first I will look for someone, an elder, who can help me with this task. If available, I would immediately take a boat and go near the spot where the dog is. Then throw a net to trap the dog and pull it safely back to the boat.
